Ten days after the eclipse, the Sun meets the South Node at the very end of Leo. This extends the eclipse story and makes August feel less like a single dramatic event and more like an identity-clearing process. The Sun rules identity, vitality, confidence, and conscious self-expression. The South Node represents patterns that are familiar but may no longer support growth.

You may become unusually conscious of an old role you have mastered: the successful one, attractive one, entertaining one, responsible one, impressive one, strong one, or the person who always knows what to do. There is nothing inherently wrong with any of these identities. The question is whether you still choose them, or whether you continue performing them because other people reward you for doing so.

Real-life integration:
Observe where maintaining an image costs you more energy than it gives you. You do not necessarily need to replace it. Sometimes the integration is simply giving yourself permission to stop maintaining something that has already expired.

Do:
✔ Notice which identities feel heavy rather than alive.
✔ Give yourself permission to evolve publicly.
✔ Separate genuine confidence from the need for recognition.

Don’t:
✘ Keep playing a role because other people like it.
✘ Interpret reduced attention as reduced worth.
✘ Immediately create a new persona to replace the old one.
